The Management Team
The Management Team has a complementary mix of cultural backgrounds and experiences in the healthcare industry. We are innovative, educated thinkers with extensive branding, creative, legal and regulatory expertise.
Denis Ezingeard, Managing Partner
Denis is the architect of our proprietary Pharmaceutical Brand Engineering model. Before specialising in pharmaceutical branding, Denis has sharpened his marketing, engineering and management consulting skills working for Hoechst, Mercer and Zodiac Group. Over the last ten years, Denis has co-founded Geneva-based Interbrand Wood and Nomen Healthcare. He has managed numerous global branding projects requiring FDA and EMEA name approval such as Angeliq, Fuzeon and Xolair. Denis graduated as engineer from Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Marseilles in France and received an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Clement Galluccio, Managing Partner
For almost two decades Clement has served in a leadership role for some of the world’s most respected healthcare-centric naming and branding companies, participating to the creation of healthcare brands such as Celebrex, Enbrel and Viagra. As the lead developer of a number of well-established metric models, he has spoken extensively on brand assessment and valuation best practices to organizations such as the FDA and the EMEA, PhRMA, EFPIA, PBIRG and EphMRA. After a deep immersion within the great works of literature at Baruch College, Clement broadened his education in communications at the Parsons School of Design.

Marcel Botton, Nomen Group President
When Marcel Botton created Nomen Group in 1981, he was simply transforming his passion for words into a full-time job. Marcel acts as naming and strategy advisor on Nomen Healthcare projects, lending his insight as an economist and marketing specialist. Combining creative techniques with computer processing, Marcel has developed many world-class brand names such as Skyteam, Vinci and Wanadoo. A well-known speaker in France and abroad, Marcel is also the author of numerous works, including the books Créer et protéger ses marques (co-author) and Le nom de marque (co-author, published by McGraw Hill).

Doriane Deshayes, Project Management
Doriane specialises in market research, name safety and regulatory consulting. Her unusual educational background in both biology and marketing management gives Doriane keen insight into the wide range of Nomen Healthcare's demanding branding and market research projects. Her experience includes modeling the complex regulatory decision-making process as well as conceiving and implementing name safety research programs around EMEA and FDA guidelines. She received her MA degree from the International Business School of Rennes in France, where she majored in marketing and earned a BA degree in human biology.
Lada O Gnimh , Project Management
A true citizen of the world, Lada brings an unusual background cocktail to branding. She is working on tailored projects involving brand management, market research, linguistic and legal mastery. Before joining Nomen Healthcare, Lada has gained international experience in the medical and healthcare fields in Hong Kong and the Czech Republic. She is fluent in Czech (native), Slovak, English and French, comfortable with German and Polish. Lada graduated from Mendel University in Brno with a Masters Degree in Business and Economics.
Ignasi Fontvila, Creative
Besides being the founding partner and creative director of Nomen Spain, Ignasi brings his unique creative Latin touch to Pharmaceutical Brand Engineering. Among his many clients are Beiersdorf, Cephalon, Coca-Cola, Danone, Henkel, Myrurgia, Novartis, Pepsico, Renfe, Sara Lee and Vileda. A true branding expert, Ignasi teaches naming and advertising at the Abat Oliba University in Spain. He is also a frequent guest editor of the monthly magazine Món Empresarial and creator of the 'Brand New' section in www.paracomunicadores.com. Ignasi earned a BA degree in advertising and public relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

Arlene Teck, Creative
Arlene is our New York-based class 5 creative expert with over 20 years experience in pharmaceutical branding. As former VP Creative Services for Interbrand Wood Healthcare, she created world-class brand names such as Vaqta, Viagra, Priorix and Caduet. She has contributed to the name creation of more than one hundred healthcare products and corporate identities, and served leading healthcare companies such as GSK, Merck and Pfizer. Arlene’s approach to Pharmaceutical Brand Engineering is at once language-neutral and global, blending roots from English, Latin, Greek, Japanese and many other languages. Arlene earned a degree in Cognitive Psychology from Cornell University, with advanced work in creative thinking processes.
Denis Baldensperger, Trademark Attorney
As managing director of Legimark France, an intellectual property law firm that is part of the Nomen Group, Denis Baldensperger works closely with Nomen Healthcare on international projects. Before joining Legimark, Denis worked with the legal department of Nestlé France and was an associate director at a top-tier law firm in Paris that specialised in intellectual property. Denis graduated with an MA in business law and a major in intellectual property from the University of Paris.
Sylvie Naudy, Trademark Attorney
Sylvie founded Legimark Switzerland, a legal firm specialising in intellectual property that is part of Nomen Group. She contributes to the development of Nomen Healthcare's international legal practice and carries out international projects in English, French and German. Prior to Legimark, she worked at Schellenberg & Haissly, one of the largest law firms in Switzerland. She was admitted to the Swiss bar in 1990, after graduating from the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland.
Nela Milijic, Linguistics
A passionate linguistics specialist and the managing director of Nomen Croatia, Nela has been involved in naming projects for clients such as Adris Group, Cedevita, Jadran Gallenic Laboratory and Lura. She also has been the driving force behind the growth of Intercheck, a global network of linguists and cultural specialists with more than 300 members worldwide. Fluent in English and German, Nela is also comfortable working in French and Italian. She received her BA in German from the Philological Faculty in Belgrade and obtained a communications diploma from the London School of Public Relations.
